PAULINE ELLIOTT
I began my career as a teacher, having graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Social Sciences and later going on to take a PGCE in Maths and Sociology at Christ Church College, Canterbury.

Drawing, painting and music have always been a central way of relaxing for as long as I can remember, so after many years of teaching I left to enrol as a student at Hereford College of Arts, from which I graduated with a degree in Fine Art.

Since completing my studies in Fine Art, I have enjoyed discovering new processes and combining different mediums. My 2D work has been exhibited in a variety of galleries, while one of my book art pieces was part of an exhibition in Australia. While I initially focused on exploring a range of printmaking techniques, I find I am returning increasingly to working with charcoal, graphite and paint.

I draw inspiration from my surroundings and am particularly interested in the idea of fragmenting and combining imagery.
